• Oba Femi kicked off Raw by celebrating his King of the Ring victory and teased whether he would challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship or Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The celebration was interrupted by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Brock claimed he doesn’t watch Raw and only came because Paul told him Oba had been calling him a coward. Lesnar attacked Oba with a low blow and an F5, but Oba got back to his feet and challenged Brock to a rubber match at SummerSlam. Brock accepted, making it a Hell in a Cell showdown.

  • Jimmy Uso def. LA Knight but after the match Solo Sikoa attacked Jimmy with a devastating Samoan Spike.
  • Jacob Fatu revealed that Roman Reigns had ordered him to head to SmackDown and deal with Solo Sikoa. Later, Jey Uso announced he would also be going to SmackDown to challenge Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship, promising to bring the title back to the Bloodline at SummerSlam.

  • Michael Cole and Corey Graves announced that Gunther and Nick Aldis had both been sent home following their altercation at Night of Champions. Aldis has been placed on administrative leave, with Adam Pearce taking over as General Manager of both Raw and SmackDown.

  • Lyra Valkyria explained her betrayal of Bayley, saying she had spent too long sacrificing her own success for Bayley. Lyra admitted she trusted someone considered one of the best, but realised she needed to put herself first to become the superstar she truly wants to be.
  • Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins come face to face. The main event for SummerSlam is now official: Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins.
